Don’t Underestimate Gen XDownload our guide to the generation at the peak of its buying power.
Generation X is in its peak earning and buying power years, and the average Gen Xer household outspends both the Millennial and Baby Boomer generations.
Sandwiched between Baby Boomers and Millennials, Generation X is made up of those born between 1965 and 1980 (which makes them between 36 and 51 years of age in 2016). Despite representing 36% of the U.S. population, Gen X is often overlooked by marketers because it is not as sizable or extroverted as other generations.
Don’t make the mistake of overlooking this powerful, affluent generation. Find out more about them and their buying happens—and how this group shapes up locally. Download our user’s guide to Gen Xers in the Courier-Post Market.
